• What should I wear?

  Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in, along with flat, closed-toe shoes — trainers or runners are ideal. Heels, sandals, flip-flops, and loose scarves are not permitted on the arena floor for safety reasons. Since Floor Is Lava is a physical challenge involving jumping, balancing, and quick movements across the LED tile arena, you'll want to dress as if you're heading to a casual sports activity. Avoid anything too tight, long, or restrictive that might limit your movement — and get ready to sweat!
• Is this an escape room?

  No — Floor Is Lava is not a traditional escape room and works quite differently. It is an immersive physical LED arena challenge where teams compete across multiple game modes to score as many points as possible within 45 minutes. Rather than solving puzzles to escape, you'll be jumping, balancing, and navigating glowing pressure-sensor tiles while trying to avoid touching the 'lava.' It's competitive, high-energy, and great fun for all ages — with a leaderboard so you can see how your group stacks up against previous players.
• How many people can play at once?

  Floor Is Lava is designed for 2 to 6 players sharing the arena per session, working together or competing within the same time slot. Larger groups can book back-to-back sessions and compare their leaderboard scores for some extra competitive fun. Each session lasts 45 minutes, so a group of 12 could run two sessions back-to-back with ease. It's a great option for families, friend groups, children's parties, and corporate events where you want something active and different.
• What if I touch the "lava"?

  The arena floor is lined with pressure-sensor tiles that detect every footstep — if you step on a 'lava' tile, it lights up red and your team receives a time penalty on the clock. Too many penalties and the round ends early, so staying off the glowing tiles is very much part of the challenge! The sensor system is very accurate, so there's no arguing with the floor — every misstep counts. It adds a brilliant layer of tension and keeps everyone on their toes, quite literally.
