- Is an escape room good for corporate team building?Genuinely, yes — and not just as a novelty. Escape rooms put teams through real-time problem solving, communication under pressure, and collaborative decision making in a way that classroom exercises simply can't replicate. Every team leaves having learned something about how they work together, and because it's enjoyable, the lessons actually stick. We've hosted teams from multinationals, SMEs, and everything in between, and the debrief conversations are always illuminating.
- How many employees can participate at once?Up to 50 people can play simultaneously across our two Dublin city centre locations, just 5 minutes apart. We split larger groups into teams of 4–8 per room, run them at the same time, and compare results at the end. This creates natural competition between teams while keeping group sizes small enough for genuine collaboration. For groups of 50+ we can discuss staggered sessions on the same day.
- Do you offer invoicing or corporate billing?Yes. Corporate groups can arrange payment by invoice rather than paying at the time of booking. Get in touch with us at info@incognitoescaperoom.ie before booking and we'll set up the corporate billing arrangement for you. We can also provide receipts and documentation suitable for expense claims.
- Can we run multiple teams competing simultaneously?Absolutely — this is how most corporate groups run it. We assign each team to a different room, start everyone at the same time, and run a full debrief at the end comparing escape times, hints used, and puzzles solved. It creates a fantastic competitive dynamic and gives you plenty to discuss in the post-event conversation. We can accommodate up to 6 simultaneous teams across our two locations.
- How does the team building experience work from start to finish?You arrive, our game masters brief all teams on the rules and the room's story. Teams are split and sent to their rooms — 60 to 75 minutes of intense problem-solving begins. Game masters monitor via camera and deliver hints when teams request them (or need a nudge). At the end, we reveal everyone's results, escape times, and hint counts. Most corporate clients then head to a nearby venue for a debrief and drinks. The whole experience typically runs 2–2.5 hours from arrival to finish.
