Learning That Disguises Itself as Fun
- Real teamwork under real pressure — 60 minutes of genuine collaboration that makes classroom exercises look abstract.
- Critical thinking embedded in every puzzle — pattern recognition, lateral thinking, logical deduction — without a textbook in sight.
- Up to 50 students at once — split into competing teams. Teachers often find it as revealing as students do.
- Group rates for schools — weekday daytime slots available at preferential pricing for school groups.

----- Ms. Brennan, Transition Year Coordinator -----

We brought our TY class of 26 and it was one of the best school activities we've run. The students were completely engaged, the competition between teams was brilliant, and the conversations about teamwork afterwards were genuinely insightful.
Best school activity we've run. Students completely engaged, brilliant team conversations after.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Can schools book Incognito for a school trip?Yes — we regularly host school groups for educational visits and trips. If you're organising a school trip, the best approach is to contact us directly at info@incognitoescaperoom.ie or call +353 89 254 2005. We can arrange group bookings, staggered sessions for large classes, and ensure the experience is appropriate for your students' age group. We're fully insured and experienced in working with schools and youth groups.
- What age group is suitable for a school visit? We recommend our rooms for secondary school students (12+) and above. For younger students (primary school, 10–12), King's Quest is an excellent choice — it's a fantasy adventure with engaging puzzles and no scary elements. Transition Year groups particularly love the team-building and problem-solving aspects. Junior and Senior Cycle students find all of our non-horror rooms excellent for group dynamics and communication skills development.
- Is there an educational element to the escape rooms? The educational value is embedded in the experience itself — every room requires lateral thinking, pattern recognition, communication, and collaboration under time pressure. Teachers often use the debrief afterwards to discuss teamwork, leadership, and decision-making. Our game masters can also frame the experience as a structured team-building exercise if that's useful for your curriculum or programme. It's learning disguised as brilliant fun.
- How do you handle booking for large school groups? For large school groups we can run multiple rooms simultaneously across both our Dublin city centre locations (just 5 minutes apart). We can accommodate up to 50 students at once, split into teams of 4–8 per room. For groups over 50, we can arrange staggered sessions throughout the day. Please contact us in advance at info@incognitoescaperoom.ie so we can plan the logistics properly and ensure the day runs smoothly.
- Do you offer school group discounts? We do offer preferential pricing for school groups — get in touch directly to discuss rates for your group size and date. Weekday daytime slots are often more available and can be arranged at better rates than weekend evenings. We're happy to work within school budgets to make the experience accessible. Contact info@incognitoescaperoom.ie with your group size and preferred dates and we'll put together an appropriate quote.
