We did the Orphanage for Halloween and I genuinely screamed out loud three times. The puzzles are brilliant even when you're terrified and the whole group was talking about it for weeks. Best Halloween thing we've ever done in Dublin.
Screamed out loud three times. Best Halloween activity we've ever done.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you do special Halloween events?
Halloween is one of our favourite times of year — and the Orphanage is already terrifying enough without any extra atmosphere. We embrace the Halloween spirit and encourage groups to arrive in costume. During the Halloween period we may run special themed events and enhanced experiences — keep an eye on our social media and website for announcements, and book early because Halloween slots go exceptionally fast.
  • Which rooms are scariest for Halloween?
Orphanage is hands down our most terrifying room — set in an abandoned, haunted orphanage with genuine jump scares, disturbing atmosphere, and puzzles that will have you looking over your shoulder the entire time. Cabin in the Woods is a close second — you're trapped in a serial killer's cabin, low lighting, and a genuinely unsettling atmosphere. Both are perfect for Halloween groups. For the bravest souls, doing both in the same night is a rite of passage.
  • Is Incognito suitable for Halloween parties?
It's one of the best Halloween party options in Dublin. Unlike a night out that ends with everyone standing around, an escape room gives you 60 minutes of genuine shared terror, brilliant memories, and stories to retell all year. Groups of friends, work colleagues, and hen/stag parties all love doing Incognito for Halloween. Book multiple rooms, compete in teams, then head out for the rest of the night properly warmed up.
  • Are there age restrictions for the horror rooms at Halloween?
Our horror rooms — particularly Orphanage and Cabin in the Woods — are recommended for ages 16 and above, especially at Halloween when the atmosphere is heightened. These rooms contain jump scares, low lighting, loud noises, and genuinely frightening content. Under-16s can participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian who has assessed their suitability. King's Quest, Baker Street Mystery, and Prohibition are available for younger groups and remain horror-free year-round.
  • Can we book a private Halloween event?
Absolutely — all our rooms are private by default, so your group always has the room to yourselves. For Halloween, if you want to book out multiple rooms for a private group event or party, get in touch at info@incognitoescaperoom.ie or call +353 89 254 2005 and we'll arrange the full evening for you. Halloween weekend slots book up months in advance, so don't leave it to the last minute.
